DATAKILDE · USE CASES
Plan a data-backed workflow.
These examples describe what to investigate, not a guarantee of data delivered for an address. The catalogue, source coverage and your effective access determine each lookup.
Insurance and alarm services
What needs investigation before further assessment or installation?
Start with registered building information, mapped hazards and relevant area context. Consider model estimates only where access, release and documentation are confirmed.
A risk flag is screening, not a sole basis for refusal, insurance pricing or a safety guarantee. Alarm planning requires a site survey; estimated response time is not a response guarantee.
Contractors and renovation teams
What must be clarified before quoting, design and construction?
Compare registered building/property information, planning references, terrain and hazard maps where actually available. Request evidence for missing or conflicting fields.
An empty source does not mean work is permitted. Planning interpretation, ground investigations and structural calculations require responsible professionals and current documentation.
Homeowners and new builds
What is known about the home or plot, and what needs confirmation?
Use the registered address and building as a starting point for renovation, maintenance or plot assessment. Separate registry facts from inspections, your documents and model estimates.
Registry data is not a condition report or building permit. Ownership/personal information and private documents require separate rights; they are not automatically included in an address lookup.
From a need to a checked lookup
- Find sections and read their sources, time basis, limitations and rights.
- Choose the correct customer/organisation, check effective access and create a scoped API key.
- Try a small sample. Read statuses, missing data, freshness and model warnings; retain the request ID and check usage.
- Resolve coverage gaps and permitted uses before integration or decisions. HTTP 200 does not mean a complete answer.
