What this does not say

Quoted verbatim from the section’s warnings field, exactly as the API returns it. They are not translated: a translation would show something other than what your response actually contains.

  • technical_regulation is the building regulation in force in the build year (pre-1969, BF69, BF85, BF87, TEK97/07, TEK10, TEK17), which sets the fire-separation, escape and material rules the building was approved under; it does not say what was later altered. nearest_other_building_m and the 500 m measures are straight-line distances between address points — an indicator for fire spread (TEK17 §11-6 separates fire cells by 8 m), not a measured wall-to-wall gap. wood_fuel_heating is the Matrikkel's registered energy source (biobrensel). wall_material, roof_form_code and chimneys come from Riksantikvaren's SEFRAK register, which covers older buildings (mostly pre-1900, ~476 000 nationally) — null for a building SEFRAK does not hold; sefrak_source says whether the record matched by bygningsnummer or is the nearest SEFRAK point within 15 m. Zone answers are point-in-polygon on locally loaded source layers. For flood, quick clay and landslide, false means no match where a local municipality/layer index exists; this index proves some local data, not complete surveying or ingestion. Null means that index is missing. Other zone fields use their own layer availability checks. No negative zone answer establishes absence of hazard; the 100 m coastal zone is SSB's strandsone (pbl §1-8 byggeforbud as the rule), marka is markaloven, noise zones are T-1442 (rød/gul), heritage protection zones and listed buildings follow kulturminneloven, a road building limit within 30 m points to vegloven §29. zoning_plan is the reguleringsplan containing the point where the kommune's register is loaded (Oslo today). nearest_street_light_m is the nearest Belysningsstrekning in NVDB, which is registered on europa-, riks- and fylkesveg only: street_lit_within_60m is true when one lies within 60 m, false only when the address sits by such a public road with none, and null (unknown) on kommunale and private roads, whose lighting no open register carries.

Fields

46 of 48 fields are value fields — the ones that decide whether a record actually says anything. The rest are context: identifiers, codes and timestamps. Fields marked “open” return values to anonymous callers; the rest require a key.
