What this does not say
Quoted verbatim from the section’s warnings field, exactly as the API returns it. They are not translated: a translation would show something other than what your response actually contains.
- Active kindergartens in Udir's Barnehagefakta by straight-line distance from the address point, up to 10 within about 11 km, at the position Barnehagefakta gives. Not walking distance, and nearness says nothing about admission: catchment and admission are municipal decisions (the application link is the kommune's or the owner's).
- Barnehagefakta publishes NO vacancy or capacity, no waiting list and no parent fee. children_count is children registered and is a size signal, not free places. food_fee_nok_month is kostpenger, the monthly food charge, NOT the parent payment (foreldrebetaling), which is a national maximum rate and not published per kindergarten. children_per_staff and children_per_pedagogue are Udir's ratios; the register does not publish a bemanningsnorm verdict, only pedagognorm_status, Udir's own text for the pedagognorm (for example "Oppfyller pedagognormen med disp."). Absent figures are null, never zero; a kindergarten with no staff figures has no ratios.
- The municipal_* fields are Barnehagefakta's figures for the whole kommune, beside the kindergarten's own. Parent-survey scores are Udir's 1-5 scale for the stated year; parent_survey_answered is the base. Opening hours are the kindergarten's stated daily opening time, not the hours a child may attend. A kindergarten that Barnehagefakta gives no position is absent from this list.
- Licence: NLOD 2.0 (Norsk lisens for offentlige data), as stated by Udir at https://www.udir.no/om-udir/data for the Barnehagefakta API. Attribution: Utdanningsdirektoratet, Barnehagefakta.
- Routes follow the car profile, from the address to the feature; ranking remains straight-line. Static modelled travel time excludes live traffic and emergency response. Road snapping is limited to 250 m at each end. Ferries may be included without timetable/wait guarantees.
