What this does not say

Quoted verbatim from the section’s warnings field, exactly as the API returns it. They are not translated: a translation would show something other than what your response actually contains.

Aggregated register counts; person-level shareholder data is never exported. Postal codes with fewer than 10 distinct shareholders in a year are suppressed entirely, and suppressed codes still count toward the national median.
Postal-code aggregate, not a per-capita rate and not information about any resident or household. The register covers unlisted AS/ASA reporting; nominee-held listed shares are not included. Figures are annual year-end snapshots.
Not served: the shareholder register is Skatteetaten's and is not published under an open licence. Passing on data derived from it needs Skatteetaten's permission, which Approach does not hold, so the section answers restricted to every caller until it does.
