What this does not say

Quoted verbatim from the section’s warnings field, exactly as the API returns it. They are not translated: a translation would show something other than what your response actually contains.

  • The relationship field distinguishes the selected address, another address on the same cadastral property, the same street number with another letter, and other registered addresses within 500 metres. Registration does not prove that employees, operations, visitors or assets are physically present there. c/o, post-box and unmatched addresses are absent.
  • Legal persons only. A sole proprietorship (enkeltpersonforetak) is its owner, trading under the owner's name and often registered at the owner's home, so it and every other register entry that is, or may be, a natural person are left out, with the same rule as the company events section: a NUF, foreign entity or bankruptcy estate is listed only when its name ends in the designator of a legal person. Sole traders are counted, never named, in business_neighbourhood.
  • The endpoint returns at most 100 companies per page. Follow next_cursor on the single-section API when an address has more.

Fields

12 of 17 fields are value fields — the ones that decide whether a record actually says anything. The rest are context: identifiers, codes and timestamps. Fields marked “open” return values to anonymous callers; the rest require a key.

This is a real call against the public demo, from here. What appears below is what the API returned — not a sample.
